About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Consultant Avo Assure to join our Advisory (consulting /Implementation) team, responsible for delivering end-to-end test automation implementations for global enterprise customers.
This role is a blended consulting persona that combines hands-on automation expertise, architectural thinking, and strong client engagement. The Senior Consultant will work closely with customers to understand their overall application landscape, spanning ERP and non-ERP systems such as web, desktop, API, database, and other enterprise platforms, while also addressing the specific complexities of ERP-driven environments.
Using Avo Automation - Assure, the consultant will design scalable low-code / nocode automation solutions aligned to customer business goals. While this is primarily an individual contributor role, it also expects technical stewardship through mentoring, solution ownership, and contribution to internal best practices.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-End Automation Ownership
- Own and drive automation implementation engagements right from requirement discovery through successful delivery.
- Lead customer discussions on scope definition, assumptions, dependencies, and effort estimation.
- Translate business and testing requirements into a structured and executable automation framework for scalable outcomes.
- Operate with an automation architect mindset, beyond tool execution.
- Assess customer application ecosystems, integrations, and testing pain points.
- Design scalable, reusable, and maintainable low-code / no-code automation frameworks aligning with Avo Assure’s best practices.
- Define best practices for test asset structuring, execution strategy, reporting, and long-term maintainability.
ERP & Enterprise Application Automation
Hands-on experience with one or more of the following enterprise platforms is strongly preferred:
- SAP: S/4HANA (GUI), SAP Fiori, SuccessFactors.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365: Finance & Operations (F&O), CRM, Business Central.
- Oracle Fusion Applications.
In addition, exposure to enterprise toolchains and integrations is expected, including:
- Test and work management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
- Version control systems such as Bitbucket.
- Understanding how automation integrates with these platforms to enable enterprise reporting, traceability, and management-level visibility across test execution, defects, and release readiness.
Avo Assure Platform Expertise
- Implement automation solutions using Avo Assure best practices across web, desktop, API, database, and ERP applications
- Work with modern project structures, reusable components, and execution strategies.
- Leverage platform capabilities such as smart recording, design studio, selfhealing, and parallel execution.
- Support integration with enterprise CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a trusted technical advisor during customer workshops and review meetings.
- Clearly articulate automation design decisions, trade-offs, and implementation approaches.
- Collaborate with geographically distributed teams across APAC, EMEA, and US regions.
- Provide flexibility to overlap European and US time zones when project needs demand.
Mentoring & Knowledge Enablement
- Mentor junior consultants and support team in their upskilling initiatives.
- Lead internal technical walkthroughs and best practice sharing sessions.
- Contribute to internal accelerators, reusable assets, and implementation standards.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in QA, test automation, or enterprise application testing.
- Hands-on experience with low-code / no-code automation platforms.
- Prior involvement in ERP automation projects such as SAP, Dynamics 365, or Oracle Fusion.
- Exposure to non-ERP automation, including web, desktop, API, or database testing.
- Strong understanding of automation scoping, estimation, reporting, and delivery models.
- Ability to work independently while owning complex implementation responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with a consulting-oriented, customer-facing mindset.
Good to Have
- Hands-on experience with Avo Assure in customer implementation scenarios.
- Awareness of competing automation platforms such as Leapwork /Tricentis Tosca / Katalon / Selenium.
- Exposure to enterprise DevOps and CI/CD integration models.
- Experience mentoring or guiding junior team members in test automation initiatives & designing Work Environment & Benefits.
