About the Role

We are looking for a Technical Subject Matter Expert (SME) who will function as the Senior Product Specialist by joining our Avo Education team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, depth, and effectiveness of all enablement artifacts across documentation, e- learning, LMS content, and instructor-led training.

The SME will serve as the technical authority and go-to expert for the platform within the enablement function—providing source content, validating learning materials, delivering training, and collaborating closely with Product, Engineering, Advisory, and Support teams. This is a hands-on, high-impact role suited for someone passionate about technology, learning, and customer enablement.  

Key Responsibilities

 Role Success 

  • Upskill and gain functional expertise on the various platforms of Avo Automation like Avo Assure. You will be one of the Technical Experts guiding the training content delivery and collaborating very closely with Product Managers, Developers, Engineers, and Support personnels
  • Deliver comprehensive product training (live, virtual, and through learning artifacts) to our customers & partners, ensuring they have a deep understanding of our products, and can effectively utilize them to achieve their business objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Instructional Designers (IDs) in the team to provide essential and accurate raw content for the development of training materials and resources and indulge in technical reviews of the education artifacts developed.

Responsibilities

  • A strong QA foundation is essential; core software testing knowledge is a must.
  • Conduct Product Training: Deliver engaging and interactive product training sessions to customers and partners, both in-person and through virtual platforms. Tailor the training content to meet the diverse needs and expertise levels of the audience.
  • Content Curation: Collaborate closely with the Instructional Design (ID) team to provide subject matter expertise and raw content (source documentation, screen recordings, screen captures) for the creation of high-quality training materials, including job-aids/hands-on guides, presentations, videos, and e-learning modules.
  • Product Knowledge Expert: Stay up to date with the latest product releases, enhancements, and updates. Develop a deep understanding of the product features, capabilities, and use cases to effectively address customer queries and provide valuable insights during training sessions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and performance metrics. Implement improvements and updates to ensure the training content remains relevant, accurate, and aligned with the evolving product landscape.
  • Proficiency in any no-code enterprise-grade tool like Tricentis Tosca, Testim, Leapwork or AcceQ is essential.
  • Training Documentation: Create and maintain training documentation, including guides, FAQs, and knowledge base articles, to support self-paced learning and serve as a reference for users after the training sessions.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other Avo teams to gather insights, resolve customer issues, and provide valuable feedback from the field.
  • Avo Community tasks: Collaborate and contribute to the various Avo Community events that we conduct and/or host – interactive plus educational. As a technical expert, your input on the product coverage will be paramount.
  • Mentor and guide a junior Product Specialist in both methodical and technical concepts.

Qualifications & Role Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience as a Product Trainer or in a similar training role (5-6 years).
  • 3. Strong understanding of core software testing concepts and test automation principles.
  • Must have delivered at least one software automation project in the role of Test Lead or Test Architect.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and understandably.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and tailor training content accordingly.
  • Experience in content development and working with Instructional Design teams is a plus.
  • Demonstrated passion for learning and staying updated with industry trends and product advancements.
  • Candidates with ISTQB certification would be given preferences
  • Flexibility to travel for onsite training sessions, if/when required.
  • Flexibility to work across different time zones, if/when required.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Confident presenter and trainer, especially in virtual environments.
  • Comfortable delivering sessions to global (non-Indian) customers.
