Avo Automation is heading to DSAG-Jahreskongress 2026, the leading annual gathering for SAP customer organizations across the German-speaking region. From October 6 to 8, 2026, we will join more than 5,500 SAP customers, partners, and practitioners at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, for three days built around this year's theme, “Claim Your Ground, Lead Your Business.” The congress is known for grounded, practitioner-led conversation about SAP transformation rather than vendor hype, and we are looking forward to being part of it.

What Happens at DSAG-Jahreskongress

Running since 2000 and rotating each year between Bremen, Leipzig, and Cologne, the DSAG Jahreskongress has grown into the largest yearly meeting point for SAP customer organizations in the German-speaking region, with attendance still trending upward. Each day opens with keynotes from DSAG, SAP, and user companies, followed by a mix of themed sessions, partner talks, and expert and influencing sessions that run in parallel across the three days. A large partner exhibition, spanning more than 180 exhibitors, sits alongside the program so attendees can compare approaches from across the SAP ecosystem in one place.

2026 Focus: AI, Data, and an Open SAP Architecture

This year's program leans into what DSAG calls the Autonomous Enterprise, the extension of SAP's Business Suite strategy to include AI agents, and the SAP Knowledge Graph. DSAG leadership has been clear that the direction is welcome in principle, but member companies want practical proof, not just promise, along with clear answers on how securely, transparently, and economically Business AI can be used in day-to-day operations.

Two related threads are expected to run through the sessions. The first is SAP's evolving API policy and what it means for how open the SAP architecture stays as cloud and AI scenarios multiply. The second is data management, which DSAG leadership frames as a deciding factor: clean, accessible, well-governed data is what determines whether AI and modern process landscapes actually work, and questions remain about new dependencies, cost, and how well SAP and non-SAP data harmonize.
